Dr. Cody is the president and chief medical officer for Redemption. He is a dual board certified emergency physician who practices both emergency medicine and prehospital medicine. He has over 20 years experience in the emergency department and is currently practicing at Saint Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. Dr. Cody has extensive experience interfacing and advocating for law enforcement professionals; he serves as the team physician for the South Metro SWAT Team and provides support for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Tactical Team. An avid educator, Dr. Cody serves as adjunct faculty at both the Oklahoma State University Oklahoma City Campus and the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. He currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Educational Development for TeamHealth, a national staffing company which provides care to several million patients annually across the country. Dr. Cody serves on multiple committees and boards across the region, state and nation and is currently the treasurer elect for the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians.

Cynthia serves as the Vice President of Redemption, where she functions as the primary provider overseeing daily clinical operations. With over 20 years of diverse healthcare experience, Cynthia brings a high-acuity perspective to correctional medicine, rooted in her extensive background in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care. Her foundational clinical expertise was forged in some of the most demanding environments in the region, including serving as a vital member of the Level 1 Trauma Team at OU Medical Center. This experience in rapid stabilization and critical intervention allows her to navigate the complexities of correctional healthcare with a steady, expert hand. In her career as a Nurse Practitioner, Cynthia has demonstrated remarkable versatility, rotating through roles as a Hospitalist, as well as an Emergency and Urgent Care provider. This breadth of knowledge ensures a seamless transition of care between acute settings and the facility. Most recently, her work at the F. Dewayne Beggs Detention Center in Norman, OK, has solidified her reputation as a leader in the field, where she balances rigorous clinical standards with the unique logistical challenges of a secure environment. As Vice President, she integrates this decades-long clinical history into the administrative fabric of Redemption, ensuring that operational decisions are always informed by frontline medical excellence and a deep commitment to patient outcomes.

Sean Lauderdale, NRP serves as Redemption’s Chief Operating Officer. Sean has more than 30 years experience as a paramedic where he has served as an operations supervisor, critical care educator, and manager for clinical services. Sean has extensive experience in bio-statistical data analysis and continuing quality improvement activities. He has served as the medical branch commander for University of Oklahoma football games for well over a decade. He is an educator, serving as adjunct faculty in the Oklahoma State University Oklahoma City campus paramedic program. Sean has served on multiple committees at the state and regional level, including serving as president of the Oklahoma Ambulance Association and serving as Chair of the Advisory Committee to the Oklahoma State Department of Health Emergency Systems Division.
